Requirements & Paramed forms

Postby Cynical in Seattle » Mon Aug 20, 2007 7:01 am

Dan,
I'm assuming this site will be monitored more regularly than others, so I'll put a suggestion in. An area where examiners can find the most up to date requirements and forms for each company. Getting access to that info can be a huge pain in the butt, especially for new direct examiners. And even with us veterans our sources can be unreliable.
Thanks

I believe the most reliable option is through one of the Big4 companies. However, to access that information, you would need a login to their software as a company or branch office. Ex1 does offer paperwork if you have an examiner login, but not requirements info. The MediPro Direct system provides requirements info as updated by its medical company users. But I have never found a reliable source for requirements that is available to the general public as it takes a significant amount of time to keep these up to date and the Big4 are not historically very open with any information. If anyone else is aware of a place for this information, I would love to hear about it.

We could start a section like that, but it wouldn't be likely it would stay up do date for every company in every state. The only other thing I would add to Pdirector's comments would be that you can find an open database of forms for every company and state at the Superior website here:

This database is open to everyone without a required login. Hopefully that is helpful.

I'm working on getting a generic access to ExamOne's Paperwork. I haven't had success as of yet but it may be coming in the near future. I'll update this post when I can. I think I should see something by the beginning of next week. If so, any examiner could use this login and pull paperwork for any company that ExamOne is approved to bill through. That, plus the open access to the Superior site like Dan said, should give the majority of any paperwork that may be needed.

I believe having a community spot for all examiners to upload paperwork they have may create an environment where anyone can get access to MOST paperwork. The Ex1 idea is great but I am not sure they will let anyone have that kind of access.

OK, I now have the ExamOne paperwork access as promised. There are no cases attached to this username so their are no issues with having access to client information.
EXAMONE
ExamOne:
username: 43469
password: paramedicalexam

Any examiner is welcome to use this as often as possible but ExamOne only has paperwork for the companies they work with. If you cannot find the paperwork here, you may also try the previously given Superior URL that does not require a login to get access:
SUPERIOR MOBILE MEDICS

For any remaining paperwork, you will have to have someone connect this to you directly or to have it uploaded in the paperwork section of this forum. Hope this is helpful to lots of people.

For anyone who has not already tried it, the Ex1 login is no longer active as Ex1 does not want anyone to have access to all these forms. THe solution may need to be an open upload section where all users can find and upload forms for any insurance company and/or state. That would certainly be helpful to a lot of people.

Would everyone be willing to actually update this?

I believe this forum should have a paperwork upload section within the next few weeks. I know that will certainly be useful for the exmainers in my area, since it should allow them to share paperwork by inurance company and state. Maybe there should be a similar item for exam requirements...

We are in the process of having the requirements and forms (all states) updated on our website. Please let me know if you have any creative ideas or features you would like to see on the paramed forms page. All ideas will be welcomed.

Thanks everyone for the continued support.
