mj0520,
There are a number of posts throughout the forum that address this question in greater detail. However, the short answer is that if you already have experience as an examiner, the transition to becoming more independent requires you to purchase equipment (including a centrifuge) and lab kits (unless you find a billing company that will give these to you), find a company to bill your cases through, and secure a software system to manage your casework on. From there it is up to you to go out and market to your local agents.
